For this survey, Central Government has sanctioned a fund of Rs. 155.97 crores, of which Rs. 135.00 crores has been received from this fund. Funds of about 131.00 crores have been distributed to these districts.

The said social, financial and caste surveys are being done on a complete computer with a handheld device (HHD), and information of each family and individuals is being recorded on a specially designed portable machine by BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited). The paper is not used at this time.
