Social, Economic And Caste Survey

According to the 12th Five Year Plan, the central government has decided to conduct social, financial and caste-based surveys so that they can benefit from the development schemes and programs which are specially designed for the underground elements of the society and others should not take advantage of it. This survey is being done in rural and urban areas simultaneously. For this survey, Central Government has sanctioned a fund of Rs. 155.97 crores, of which Rs. 135.00 crores has been received from this fund. Funds of about 131.00 crores have been distributed to these districts.

The said social, financial and caste surveys are being done on a complete computer with a handheld device (HHD), and information of each family and individuals is being recorded on a specially designed portable machine by BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited). The paper is not used at this time. Directed by Directorate of Census, Mumbai has been supplying the National Population Register (NPR), Abridge House List (AHL), Charge Register, and census map to the Bell company, and the information regarding the information regarding the handling of the Hand Held Device (HHD) The proceedings have been made by the Bell company. The State has been appointed as the Manager and Supervisor for the calculation. The Bell company has been appointed as the Data Entry Operator.

Appointments of additional persons have been appointed for the claims and objection process.The final list of the survey will be released after the claims and objections process is complete. After submitting the information of this surveys to the central government, the Central Government will ensure the families below poverty line.
