    Mahaegram

  • Maha eGram is a digital platform of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Government of Maharashtra, which provides e-governance services to Gram Panchayats in rural areas. It aims to digitize, increase transparency and efficiency in the functioning of Gram Panchayats.
  • Unlike the Apale Sarkar portal, which provides extensive services including teacher transfers, Maha eGram is specifically centered around the village panchayat, including tax collection, certifications, and scheme applications.
  • Special category Part-1 (e.g., medical conditions, disability, widow) and Part-2 (spouse integration) applications for teachers are only made on the Aaple Sarkar portal, not on Maha eGram, and the service duration conditions (10 years general, 5 years in the current school) may be waived or relaxed.
