Revamped Rashtriy Gram Swaraj Abhiyan

Short Description:

Year 2018-19 : Central Government implemented “Rashtriy Gram Swaraj Abhiyan” by reconstituting Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Sashaktikaran Abhiyan. The ratio of Central and State share is 60:40. In the year 2022-23 Rashtriy Gram Swaraj Abhiyan was revising and the scheme “Revamped – Rashtriy Gram Swaraj Abhiyan ” was declared.
This scheme is to be implemented during the period from 01-04-2022 to 31-03-2026 and the ratio of central and state share is 60:40.

Government Resolution:
The Government Resolution regarding the implementation of Revamped Rashtriy Gram Swaraj Abhiyan has been issued on 16.09.2022.

2. Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad Development Plan Training
3. Thematic Training – Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (9 Concepts) People’s Representatives and Officers of Panchayat Raj Institutions
4. Training of People’s Representatives and Officers in the PESA Area
5. Training of Trainers (TOT)
6. Infrastructure for Training – State and District Panchayat Resource Centres
7. Manpower for State, District and Taluka Project Management Units
8. Special Assistance to PESA Sector – District, Taluka PESA Coordinator, Gram Sabha Mobilizer
9. IP Based Virtual Classroom
10. Panchayat Learning Centers
11. Study tours outside the State and within the State
12. Innovative activities
13. Information, Education and Communication (IEC)
14. Project Management (PMU)
