Providing Basic Facilities Within Villages In Rural Areas As Suggested By Hon. People’s Representatives (Head 2515 1238)

For the development of basic facilities within the villages, Hon. People’s Representatives demands to provide funds for basic facilities. Taking into consideration this demands, the Government has decided to start a scheme To Provide Basic Facilities In Rural Areas Suggested By The People’s Representatives from the year 2008-09
Works to Be Taken up Under The Scheme- Improvement of Internal Village roads, sewers, storm water drainage, cremation and burial grounds, protective wall, construction of Gram Panchayat office, facilities for weekly market, facilities for garbage depot and primary processing in the village, tree plantation and protection in public spaces, community Hall/temple, public toilets, installation of paving blocks on roads, construction of gymnasium/akhada, construction of passenger shelter shed, library, construction of river ghats, gardens and beautification, street lights, beautification of chowk and other basic amenities.

Eligibity Criteria : Under this Scheme, a proposal is required from The Hon’ble People’s Representatives like a) MP b) MLA/MLC c) Members of Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat.

Remarks : Considering the budgeted provision and approval of the Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development, sanction provide to the works suggested by People’s Representatives.
